Shohreh Haddadan

I am a computer scientist specializing in Natural Language Processing(NLP).

My interests in NLP include but are not limited to:

  • Argument mining
  • Text classification
  • Abstractive summarization
  • Bias in language models

I am currently writing my PhD dissertation at University of Luxembourg on the topic of argument mining from political debates data which in summary includes extraction of argument structures from textual resources in political debates and utilize these structures in argumentative analysis such as detection of fallacious arguments.
My master thesis(written in Farsi) is on the use of Abstract Meaning Representations (graph-based semantic representation models) for abstractive summarization of Persian text.
